Students are welcome to study quietly, borrow and return library material, view films, access computers and electronic resources (ebooks, electronic journals and databases) or simply bring their own laptop and connect to IADT’s wireless network.
Level 1 of the library is the dedicated collaborative study space with Level 2 the dedicated quiet study space.
Our library has a Tech Hub area on Level 1, with PC's, Macs and printer/photocopiers.
We also have on-campus and off-campus access to thousands of full text online journals and electronic books. Our quick and easy self-service kiosks on Level 2 provide enhanced library services, students can borrow library material, check records.

The Library is located on two floors in the Atrium building. With the virtual library service available 24/7 on campus or from home, you can access our electronic resources, online catalogue, eBooks and databases.

Friday: 9am – 5pm
Saturday: 10am – 4:30pm

The library provides conventional library services e.g. borrowing and returning print books, photocopying and printing, guidance on locating and reserving print books. It also provides enhanced digital library services and information skills to help you with your learning journey. Please ask a library team member if you are having difficulty finding what you need.
Yes we do! Why not drop in or call the library to arrange to meet with a library team member who will help you with your specific query. Alternatively, you might like to arrange an information skills session. If you need some help just ask a library team member.
Yes. Your student card ID card is also your library card. When using the self service kiosks to borrow library material, pay fines, check your records online you need your card and your library pin number. You can are welcome to ask a library team member for more information. Once you have created your library pin number select the items you wish to borrow or return, place them on the glass at the kiosk, follow the screen information, print your receipt and you should be good to go.
