IADT 1916 'Leaders and Learners' Bursary 2019/20

IADT is delighted to invite applications for the 1916 ‘Leaders and Learners’ Bursary 2019–2020. The bursary is funded by the Department of Education and Skills and it aims to provide support for economically disadvantaged students from groups traditionally underrepresented in higher education.
IADT is offering 8 bursaries of €5,000 per annum for the duration of a student’s undergraduate degree. Applications are invited from students entering higher education in September 2019, for full or part-time degree programme of greater than 2 years’ duration.

Uversity Higher Education Scholarships for Adult Learners
Scholarships are not limited to particular subject areas and will enable individuals 23 years or older to complete a Bachelor’s degree in one of the participating institutions in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland.
In May 2019, Uversity was granted an income disregard for its Higher Education Scholarships for Adult Learners by Ireland’s Department of Education & Skills and the Department of Employment Affairs & Social Protection. For successful candidates in the Republic of Ireland, Uversity scholarships to a maximum value of €7,000 will not be considered reckonable income for means-tested social welfare benefits with immediate effect and SUSI maintenance grants from the 2019/2020 academic year.
