National Film School students nominated for Royal Television Society Student Awards

Students of the National Film School at IADT have once again received a significant number of nominations for the ROI Royal Television Society Student Awards.

In the Animation category The Usual has been nominated. 

Directed, edited and design by Éabha Bortolozza and Jack Kirwin. Sound by Dylan Boyle, Sam Farrar and Stephen Harris. 

In the Short Form category Speak to Her has been nominated. 

Directed by Jack Desmond. Produced by Philip Emo. Director of Photography, Sean Doupe. Editor, Cian Desmond. 

In the Factual category The Last Miner has been nominated. 

Produced, directed, shot and edited by Luke Brabazon. Additional editing, Brendan Corcoran. Post Sound, Art Skehan. 


In the Drama category That Old Feeling has been nominated. 

Director, Sean Maher. Producer, Cian Desmond. DOP, Tom Simington. Editor, Ben Rogan. Sound, Stephen Drennan. 

Also in the Drama category Skint has been nominated. 

Director and writer, Tara O'Callaghan. Producer, Jack Cowhig. Cinematographer, Lauren O'Brien. 

Finally, in the Drama category Backwater has been nominated. 

Directed by Brendan McCallion. Produced by Frank O'Malley. Screenplay by Brendan McCallion and Frank O'Malley. Cinematography by Robin J. Kavanagh. Edited by Brendan Corcoran. 


The Award winners will be announced at the ROI Royal Television Society Student Television Awards on Tuesday 5th March 2019.
