Dr. Annie Doona

Dr Annie Doona is the current President of IADT. Her role entails strategic leadership and direction, development of the Institute as well as representing IADT at national and international level. She is also focused on continuing sectoral development.

Annie has experience as a member of, and Chair of quality assurance review panels in the UK and Ireland and across Europe. She is an accredited ENQA and QQI reviewer and is a frequent visitor to Lithuania as Chair of Institutional Review and Programmatic Review panels. She is the current chair of the Irish Film Board. She is a member of several other programmes and initiatives including Women in Film and Television Ireland, a member of International Women’s Forum, a member of Institute of Directors and an Associate Fellow of GradCam. Annie is a graduate of the Common Purpose programme UK.

Lectures and Conferences

Annie is a frequent presenter nationally and intentionally on a range of topics including access and diversity, strategic development, higher education developments in Ireland, women in technology and educational leadership.
