Digitary Core Online Secure Document System
Information for Current Students
You will receive an email from Digitary alerting you that a document has been issued to you via Digitary Core.
FIRST TIME USERS: The first step is to log in using your Student Number and your network password. If you don't know your network password, use the password reset stations on campus or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Once logged in you must associate a durable personal email address (not your student email as this will expire eventually) and create a special Digitary Password (TIP! Write this down immediately). You will then be sent a verification notice to your personal email address. Once verified you can log back in using your personla email address and the special digitary password. Consider linking your digitary core account to your social media such as LinkedIn, Facebook or Google+. Linking your personal email and social media in this way allows you to manage and access your Digital Documents long after you have left IADT.
TIP! Take the guided tour - select the icon on the left when you log in first and it will show you how to navigate around and get the most out of the system.
REPEAT USERS: Log in using the personal email address and special password that you created when you logged in for the first time. Alternatively log in using any of the Social Media accounts that you associated with your Digitary account. NB you have complete control over this functionality and can add or remove logins at the click of a button.
You will retain control over any documents you share and can enable or disable shares at will as well as see if your shared documents have been accessed.
Access to documents is currently free.
Information for Alumni
The system is not yet live for alumni (ie those who studied prior to 2016/17) We hope to start issuing documents though digitary before the end of 2017. In the meantime, you can continue to order copy transcripts via the Office of Academic and Student Affairs.
Information for Relying Parties (Employers, Reference Check Services, Admissions Officers)
The Digitary Core System is an online document sharing system used by educational institutions all over the world. Documents issued to you via Digitary Core are secure and have been verified by IADT.
