The library space is located in the Atrium building. It has two levels. Level 1 for collaborative study and Level 2 for quiet study.

Drop by the Information Desk just inside the library foyer area and ask a library team member to show you around. One of us is always close by to help with queries.
Students are welcome to study quietly, borrow and return library material, view films, access computers and electronic resources (ebooks, electronic journals and databases) or simply bring their own laptop and connect to IADT’s wireless network. Our library has an area dedicated to electronic media, with pcs, macs, widescreen TVs, DVD players. We also have on campus and off-campus access to thousands of full text online journals. Our quick and easy self-service kiosks provide enhanced library services, so students can use them to borrow library material, pay fines, or check records.
Where + when
The library is located on two floors in the Atrium building. With the virtual library service available 24/7 on campus or from home, you can access our electronic resources, online catalogue, eBooks and databases. The library has developed a series of course specific Wikis hosting online tutorials and self study material which are designed to assist with learning.

The library provides conventional library services e.g. borrowing and returning print books, photocopying and printing, guidance on locating and reserving print books. It also provides enhanced digital library services and information skills to help you with your learning journey. Please ask a library team member if you are having difficulty finding what you need.
Yes we do! Why not drop in or call the library to arrange to meet with a library team member who will help you with your specific query. Alternatively, you might like to arrange an information skills session. If you need some help just ask a library team member.
Yes. Your student card ID card is also your library card. When using the self service kiosks to borrow library material, pay fines, check your records online you need your card and your library pin number. You can are welcome to ask a library team member for more information. Once you have created your library pin number select the items you wish to borrow or return, place them on the glass at the kiosk, follow the screen information, print your receipt and you should be good to go.
