Pre-Entry Activities
Junior Explore IADT
This programme invites 2nd-year students in groups of 25 to attend IADT for one morning, during which they will receive a campus tour and participate in a workshop on studying at third level.
Mind Your Media@IADT
This programme invites transition year students from our local schools onto campus to attend an interactive workshop on how to manage their social media profiles when entering the world of work. This initiative is run by volunteer students at the college supported by the Department of Entrepreneurship through the ENACTUS social entrepreneurship scheme.
My Future IADT
This is a unique transition to third level programme for 5th-year students nominated by local schools. Students attend IADT over the course of a full year for a series of study skills, technology, and wellbeing workshops as well as an Easter Camp including sample lectures, tutorials and additional sessions on navigating the CAO, the HEAR/DARE schemes and SUSI student grants system. Full details on the programme are available here.
Mature Discover IADT
This programme offers an information session to mature students in various Further Education or other locations interested in studying at IADT. The session covers the courses we offer, the mature entry route and student finance. Groups of students are welcome to visit campus also.
S.T.A.G. Access IADT
Southside Traveller Access Group and IADT have worked in partnership since 2016 to open the IADT campus to the members of our local Traveller community. We will continue this work in 2017/18 with a new programme of activities in conjunction with University College Dublin.
Open Days
Prospective students can attend the IADT open days which run every year. The Access Office will be on site to answer any questions or queries for students.
