In addition to the traditional business modules, there is significant emphasis on the development of learning skills and on the linking of knowledge across many modules.

Success story

An opportunity to see the next generation of local entrepreneurs turn their hand at presenting and selling an array of eye-catching merchandise came to County Council Markets in The People's Park Dun Laoghaire in the month of February 2006. The second-year students managed five stalls over two days, but it was not simply about making money. The project was part of their continual assessment and was devised in conjunction with Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council's CoCo Markets.
