About MA Visual Art Practices
What is Visual Arts Practices?
This MA is a unique initiative in art education: it provides a cohesive interdisciplinary programme in visual arts production, curation and criticism. Students elect to follow one of these three pathways, sharing a core set of
lectures and seminars. The focus is emphatically on contemporary international
art practices. The programme runs on a January-December basis.
Our MA will:
- educate you as a visual arts practitioner (artist/curator/critic) through an integrated, multidisciplinary programme
- enhance and test your skills against “real world” situations of contemporary practice
- enable you to work in a self-directed, critical manner, both independently and as part of a team.
