About BA (Honours) in Visual Arts Practice (ACCS Mode)
What is Visual Arts Practice (ACCS Mode)?
This programme is offered on a flexible basis through the ACCS (Accumulation of Credits and Certification of Subjects) system. It is a 60 credit per year programme, delivered over 4 years of study and is suitable for non-traditional learners, mature students and part-time study options. The content and structure is the same as DL044 and differs only in the way it is delivered:
1. Flexible Access:
Teaching is timetabled over three evenings per week, 6:30pm to 9:30pm. There
is also a requirement to attend three times during the academic year from Monday
to Friday, 9am to 5pm. These weeks are scheduled once per term.
In addition, specialist workshops and seminars may be timetabled on Friday evenings, 6:30pm to 9:30pm, and on Saturdays between 9am and 5pm.
2. Part-Time Delivery:
Part-time delivery is when less than 60 credits are taken in any one year, and places will be subject to demand. The weekly timetable follows the same pattern as Flexible Access above.
