2nd Year Applied Psychology students attend iHCI conference

Second year Applied Psychology students attended the recent iHCI 2015 conference, which was hosted by NCAD on Friday October 23rd.

Pictured below are students David Keane, Elaine Kavanagh and Breanna Coyle who are all taking the design path within IADT'sBSc (Hons) in Applied Psychology.

The design path within the PSI accredited degree equips students with skills in interface design, human-computer interaction and usability. This made the conference a perfect fit for students to learn about cutting-edge research in the area of human centered computing. Some of the specific topics including wearable computing, technology to help elderly people and mobile apps to promote health and wellbeing.

iHCI 2015 was organised by the NCAD+UCD Creative Technology Network, a partnership between academics and designers at University College Dublin and NCAD championing and facilitating cutting edge HCI collaborations, research and design.
