How to Apply

International Students

International students will fall into one of three applicant categories listed under Application Procedures. You will be either a standard applicant, a non-standard applicant or a mature applicant, and you must apply through the Central Applications Office (CAO).

IADT will assess applications and establish qualification equivalencies to ensure that you meet the required academic admission standard. Certified transcripts and English translations of qualifications must be submitted with your application to the CAO. Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate that their command of written and spoken English is adequate. If you have not successfully completed English in the Irish Leaving Certificate or have not obtained a minimum of a grade C at GCSE O Level then you will also need to submit evidence of one of the qualifications listed below. Only then can an offer of a place be made. A copy of the relevant certificate must be submitted to the CAO with your application.
