National Film School @ IADT host ENGAGE workshop

The first workshop of ENGAGE 2012 took place in Dublin on 19th to 21st April, hosted by the National Film School at IADT.
Days One and Three took place on IADT's Dun Laoghaire campus, while Day Two was based at the Light House in Smithfield.
Now in its fifth year, ENGAGE (European Network to Grow A Generation of Audiovisual Entrepreneurs), is an Initial Training project, funded principally by the EU MEDIA programme, with 24 participants (producers, writers and directors) from nine countries.
The four partners are Screen Academy Scotland at Edinburgh Napier University; the Baltic Film and Media School at Tallinn University (Estonia); the School of Art and Design at Aalto University, Helsinki (Finland); and the NFS at IADT.
Irish industry guests included Michael Garland of Grand Pictures and Morgan Bushe of Fastnet Films, who took part in Case Studies of DEATH OF A SUPERHERO and ANTON CORBIJN - INSIDE OUT respectively, and Alan Maher, Production Executive of Bord Scannan na hEireann/The Irish Film Board.
Participants are looking forward to the next workshop in June, which coincides with the beginning of the Edinburgh International Film Festival.
