IADT graduates and staff win at the Institute of Designers in Ireland annual awards

IADT recent graduates and IADT academic staff members were very successful at the recent Institute of Designers in Ireland annual awards held on the 27th October 2011.
IADT swept the boards in the graduate category of the Institute of Designers in Ireland annual awards for Visual Communication Design. Tara Kelly was shortlisted, Emma Fenlon was awarded two accolades: the 'best' student award for one project and a 'highly commended' for another, and Vita Dobson got a 'highly commended'.
The Pivot bid team (Linda King, Red and Grey Design, Emma Curley Associates and Areaman Productions) were awarded an 'Eye' (highest accolade) for 'outstanding contribution to Irish design'.
'Ireland, Design and Visual Culture: Negotiating Modernity, 1922-1992' won a commendation award for David Smith as designer.
