IADT graduate awarded a research bursary by the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland (RIAI)

Congratulations to Blaithin Quinn – graduate of the BA in Visual Arts Practice DL044 (ACCS Mode), on being awarded a research bursary by the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland (RIAI).
TransColonia, by artist and architect Blaithin Quinn, is one of three winning projects which has been awarded a research bursary by the RIAI (Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland) for the 3twenty10 research competition. Each winner will receive a stipend of €5,000 to develop and expand on their initial idea and will be paired with an expert for guidance in their area of research.The results of the detailed studies will be presented at an exhibition in Dublin in March 2011. 3twenty10 is sponsored by the Housing & Sustainable Communities Agency and supported by the Government Policy on Architecture 2009-2015.
