The Animation programme at the National Film School at IADT was delighted to welcome two members of the creative team of Disney's THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG - Producer, Peter Del Veccho, and Supervising Animator, Andreas Deja
Following a preview of the new film in the Savoy Cinema, attended by students and staff the previous evening, Producer, Peter Del Veccho, and Supervising Animator, Andreas Deja, visited the campus on 28 January and talked about their careers and the film, then took questions from the audience.
Andreas is a legendary figure in Animation, and he won the Winsor McCay Award for lifetime achievement at the Annie Awards in 2007; his credits include:
- ENCHANTED
- HERCULES
- THE LION KING
- ALADDIN
- BEAUTY
- THE BEAST
- THE LITTLE MERMAID.
Peter worked as Associate Producer on
- CHICKEN LITTLE
- TREASURE PLANET.
Since the visit THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG has been nominated for three Academy Awards.
