IADT's 2010 Student Care Week takes place from the 18th to the 21st of January

IADT's Student Care Week which will take place from the 18th - 21st Jan 2010.
The Student Care week is organised by first year students from the BA (Honours) in Business Studies and Arts Management and is set to be a fun filled week with lots for all students and staff to get involved in.
The week's aim is to raise awareness concerning the problems students can often face and we have the following three themes -
- Financial Balance
- Positive Balance
- Lifestyle Balance.
There will many events held around the campus throughout the week including an opening performance involving Fire and street performers, Madhatters' tea party, Bunjee with a difference, an appearance from Carl Spain and other comedians, Indian Poker and so much more.
One of the highlights of the week will be a talk from a former student of NUIM and DCU who's only means of communication is through a muscle in his neck via a computer - yet despite this he achieved first class honours masters and undergraduate degrees.
So keep an eye out around the campus in the next week to get more info. It's not all about fun, you will also learn a lot when it comes to survival as a student
