Two certified Digital Creator courses scheduled to commence 11th September 2010

Have you ever wondered how you could create and edit your own digital videos, and then add your own sound track and effects? Are you interested in using a digital camera to take photo's in different ways and then learn techniques on how to improve them? Or have you heard about Podcasts and wondered how you might be able to create your own and share it with other people? Have you seen animations like Wallace and Gromit and thought you'd like to create something like it?
Well, now you can with Digital Creator, a brand new, fun and exciting way to learn how to use a wide range of digital media.
Digital media is evident in almost every aspect of our daily lives. We carry music, photos, videos on our mobile phones and portable music players. Digital Cre8or is a creative and interactive way to learn about the techniques and technologies involved in manipulating and making the most of these kinds of devices and of our computers. It encourages learners to create real life digital media projects that build into an innovative digital assessment e-portfolio.

Digital Creator encourages learners to create real life digital media projects that build into an innovative digital assessment e-portfolio. Successful completion of 4 modules will earn the participant the equivalent of a FETAC Level 4 Award – and even better – there are NO EXAMS to take !!.
We have two Digital Creator courses start at the BEC @ IADT on the Saturday 11th September 2010 @ 09:30am.
There is one course for Adults only and one for Teachers thus allowing the trainer to aim the course and content to a specific audience. The courses will be delivered over an eight Saturdays.
