GradCam Conference arts research: publics and purposes' from February 15 - 19th 2010

The GradCam Conference 2010 'arts research: publics and purposes' will be held at the new conference facility in the Dublin City Civic Offices, Wood Quay from February 15 - 19th 2010.
The conference includes lectures, symposia, performances and exhibitions.
There are a number of daytime and evening events at various venues including keynote addresses by Prof Paul Wells on Current Trends in Animation, Prof Ute Meta Bauer on the Role of the Exhibition in Arts Research, and Anton Vidokle on Culture and Citzenship.
In addition there is a music performance, a roundtable on 'the public role of the critic', a special screening of Eames films, and various exhibition launches.

One can book for the entire week of the conference, a number of days, one day or just one session.
Examples of the particular focuses are:
- Animation and Design on Monday (15/2/10);
- Music on Tuesday (16/2/10);
- Culture and Citizenship on Wednesday (17/2/10);
- Arts Research and Publics on Thursday (18/9/10)
- Friday (19/2/10)
