NFS Information Day in the Irish Film Institute 3rd December

On Wednesday, 3rd December, in association with the the Education Department of the Irish Film Institute, the National Film School (NFS) at IADT is holding an Information Day at the IFI so that career guidance teachers and prospective undergraduate students can view NFS films, see examples of other projects, and talk to staff. The courses that will be represented are Film & Television Production; Animation; Modelmaking & Special Effects; and, a new 4-year BA (Hons) in Design for Stage & Screen, commencing in September 2009 (subject to validation). This new programme has pathways in Production Design & Art Direction; Costume Design; and Make-up Design; and received huge interest from prospective students, teachers, and parents at IADT's Open Days last Friday and Saturday.
The NFS event will take at the IFI, 6 Eustace Street, Dublin 2 from 10.30am until 1pm. Students can attend independently or as part of a class group but booking is essential.
