2007 marks another milestone for the Design programme at IADT as the first
graduates emerge from the four year BA (Hons) in Visual Communications
(Graphic Design).
Primarily a celebration of the students’ achievements, the 2007 graduate
exhibition showcases a diverse range of work reflecting the interdisciplinary
nature of the programme. Central to this approach is the integration
of traditional and digital methods, creating a flexible programme that remains
responsive to the changing demands of contemporary graphic design.
For all projects students research and evaluate relevant design and communication
issues before producing appropriate and meaningful design solutions across a range
of media in Print, Screen and Space.
This years work explores a wide range of interesting subjects from Panic
Attacks to Happiness, Urban Sprawl to Design Ethics and showcases interactive
design, web design, book, packaging corporate identity, editorial design,
exhibition design, and motion graphics. |
