Title: This Way They Came
Year: 2008

The film is set in the near future, where society has fallen into a state of chaos, having received an apocalyptic transmission from another world. The film begins with a six year old boy alone, and we watch his progression (through flashbacks), from being happy at home with his parents, to the point where he sees them die during a riot ouside his window, and ultmately left alone.

The aim of the title sequence was to capture how a six year old boy would be affected by such trauma. Apparently children tend to draw in times of emotional turmoil, so I based the poster, dvd packaging and mailer around this idea.
