IRELAND'S FRESH IDENTITY
We were assigned to create a catalogue based on an essay we had done. I chose 'Ireland's Fresh Identity' which was an essay about Ireland's journey of identity, and how other countries perceive Ireland. As Ireland originally created her identity to the rest of the world through the design and distribution of stamps, my catalogue is influenced by the early design of stamps. However, I chose to make it a modern analysis of Irish stamps, so it would appeal to a younger generation, rather than using old fashioned colours and type. There is also a matching website which
