Tourists coming to Ireland often complain that
even though most people are native English speakers, they often find us hard to understand. Irish people speak English, but an Irish dialect
of English, which takes getting used to.

The centre of Irish culture is our social scene. Conversation is key, the down side of that is
that our dialogues are constructed integrating
the use of common slang. My aim is to help
integrate visitors into our environment and
teach them the art of Irish conversation.

This project was submitted for an ISTD award
and as a result attained a merit.
