BA Creative Music Production

Music production is the integration of sound engineering and creative audio programming to produce contemporary music and audio in a recording studio or live venue setting. Run in collaboration with the STC (Temple Bar, Dublin) – which is widely regarded as one of Ireland’s leading studios – this course will help you develop the creative and technical skills for a successful career. Teaching facilities have hosted some of the world’s most famous artists, including Rihanna, the Black Eyed Peas, Snow Patrol, Michael Jackson, Van Morrison, The Corrs, Morrissey, The Script and The Frames.

Year 1

Year 2
Advanced Sound Engineering; Advanced Audio Production; Music Theory 2; Critical listening; Electronics; Creative Audio Programming.

Year 3
Major project, in which you master your creative and technical skills; Critical listening 2; Music industry studies; Interactive Performance Systems.
